Heard a rumor that CIBG would be undergoing a major reorg.
Anyone heard about it?

I am sorry my friend but which world are you living in. CIBG used to be the place to be 2 years back. Now its the place to not be!
In my team, one engineer was let go. He was a good person and engineer. Used to work even on Saturday and Sunday.
If there is a CIBG reorg, that probably means pushing out more competence and instilling more yes-people, cronies and relatives.
It's very much like Putin's Russia now.
If you look at the leadership and direction of the company, we're positioned to continue to drive customer value and bring solutions together that makes everyone successful. I have no doubt this company will make great decisions on how to accomplish this goal. If that means a slight CIBG reorg, fine. If there's a rumor to share, it's that there has never been a better time to work at VMware! As a former customer and current VMware employee, it's an exciting time to watch the best of the best deliver real solutions that customers need in a timely manner. There's no other company on the planet doing this like VMware. That's worth getting excited over. It's not all doom and gloom, most of us are very excited about the future!
