Anyone in diabetes getting meeting invites/have layoff info? Wishing you all the very best!

Now that 780G is approved, do you all think the layoffs are over? Just wondering if any of you have heard anything.
Still oddly quiet ...
Are there any updates from DIA? Have you all talked to your manager/VP about this situation? Have most of the layoffs been done? My manager probably knows what's going on, but is turning a blind eye. The leadership not being transparent is ki-ling the little motivation we had even before this. I hope they give updates with speed and decisiveness.
Que thinks so little of the diabetes workforce, to her "minor impact" could be half the staff and she wouldn't have a second thought. She's been clear that she thinks all the problems now are the responsibility of people who are still there and I would not be surprised to see this used as her way to speed up the housecleaning shes doing - if all the diabetes knowledge and experience goes out the door too, thats just the price of being extrordinary.
Any updates from today? Business seems to be going on as usual. Not sure when they're going to backstab.
R&D Department
Damn, I'm sorry to hear that. What function/department are you in? If you can share the details that allows you to still be anonymous.
My manager scheduled 1:1 tomorrow at 2 pm 😓
Still awfully quiet within my team as well.
Here is a thought with no corroboration whatsoever from leadership. Not trying to start a baseless rumor, but is it possible it’s so quiet here while they wait for the follow-up to our latest response submitted to FDA? I.e. - if the FDA response back to MDT is lukewarm then we may see more cuts, but if the warning letter is lifted then maybe things will be OK pending quarterly results?
Yeah it feels oddly quiet. My manager is silent about it, I'm not sure if they have any plans of letting the team know what's going on. It's weird when your own manager doesn't communicate to you about this. Almost feels like I'm not valued enough to get updates, because I'm just a resource right? How can they expect us to work at normal capacity? Any thoughts from anyone from DIA?
Does anyone else feel it's oddly quiet? Diab goes through layoffs of varying sizes every year, but managers in the past have been fast to get in front of their people to "check" on them. Not seeing this in my group at all.
Yes, someone from the supplier quality team was laid off. They were not in Northridge though
Some Global Supplier Quality team members that support diabetes were laid off yesterday
So far haven’t heard much chatter at all. Either tomorrow is our big day or Que was actually telling the truth when she said the impact would be “very small”
Nothing so far?
I wished the ‘minor impact’ would be QD herself.
Nothing yet
I have no clue on what's going on. Haven't heard anything. Anxiously refreshing this website is all I can do.
Still no mention of anything within Diabetes? I haven’t heard a peep yet, but everyone here seems on edge even though they’re not talking about it openly. As of 11 AM nobody on my team has gotten any calendar invites or knows anyone within MiniMed who has
Field clinical here- no mention of anything from anyone, yet..
I don't like how they are not specific about numbers. I'm in the Diabetes OU and I can feel that people are anxious, but are not openly talking about it.
Haven't heard any in Diab. But not sure if Que's very minor is a few managers/project leaders or a whole department.
I guess it’s only 9am pacific time so still early
Nothing yet. Would love to hear updates as these start going out…hard to know what “very minor” means until people start getting meeting invites
Not yet but Bring it on!
QD sent a follow up email that the impact to Diabetes OU is very minor. I wish I knew her definition of very minor.
I have not yet. I fully expect it though. Just sitting here anxious as he-l waiting
