On my last one on one, my TM advised I didn’t take as many calls as the rest of my team during the last few months and that I was falling behind. I explained that I was off on PTO for a few weeks in January so I would not have the same amount of calls taken as the rest of the team. She advised I needed to work harder to either be above or in line with the average calls taken. My quality was above average just volume was lower than average, but “green” when viewed on days that I was at work. I have perfect attendance and my PTO is always scheduled. What should I do? I don’t want my end of year review or reading to suffer just because I didn’t take as many calls as my peers who are here in office more days than me. Anyone else having this sort of issue?

Yeah, next union meeting is at Tipstards house. Lemonade and cookies for everyone
Juvenile post
What happens when SF loses $20B this year? Fire leadership? He lost $13b last year despite all his cost cutting. He got rid of all the knowledgeable, experienced, loyal employees to save a dollar then paid himself more than the combined salaries of all the previous CEOs earned combined. In what world does someone like that keep his jobs. Don't forget he got two secretaries pregnant.
Thoughts on a labor union to resolve many issues?
@2mn-also cheats on spouse, cheats on taxes, runs red lights….
And the rest of your team has to make up for your lazy a-s.
On a typical day, i cruise in 15-20 minutes late then I pretend to work until lunch time. I got a buddy that sends me fake queue items that I rapidly clear to meet metrics and I return the favor...we do the same thing on phone calls...so ez. Then i take a long lunch. Then I do ez queue items, have my afternoon constitutional and cruise until the days over. Next day I repeat. TM is a stooge - thinks I'm great.
Ask around. I would be safe to conservatively say over 85% of the people who have worked in operations or retired from operations would not reccommend working for SF as a career. That is very sad.
When my boss tries to embarrass me for high numbers in front of team I always say..I got high score!!!...just to mock them. But, I dont care about performance reviews
Oh, then when they tell you to stop sending emails, you send another email thanking them for telking you to stop sending them emails. They just want to control you. Once hey know they can't, they backoff and move on to an easier target.
TMs hate things in writing. When my TM puts me down verbally. I send them an email in writing confirming conversation. They soon learn to backoff. "Thank you for speaking to me today about blah blah blah. As explained I was on PTO which explains blah blah blah" then watch the cockroach run for cover. So EZ
They don’t want anyone to use it anytime, ever. You can’t even get the day you want off even when you try to plan it SIX MONTHS in advance. Their clusterfu-k time off system crashes every time when everyone desperately tries to have a day off in six months at the same time. When it finally unfreezes you see you’re denied the day you wanted off and there are 30 or more other people waiting to have it off in line before you.
This happens all the time
Don't go to HR. Document the conversation and take hard copies home and place in file to see if pattern exists while documenting every time you address the issue. Take hard copies of those home as well to file. Then, once TM knows they can continue this kind of behavior they will continue to do it while documenting it. Once this becomes a pattern, bring it to your managers attention that you have the matter documented and have made every effort to avoid the discussions. If that doesn't change management behaviors, see an excellent labor attorney and advise you management you have put the matter into the hands of your attorney. HR is worthless. They literally sleep with management and IMO "get off" on riding the tails of the worker by keeping them in fear. Instead of them putting you on notice, put them on notice. KEEP ALL RECORDS! I did.
Yeah, that's a bad manager, if it's really just a blip due to scheduled PTO. Even if you don't decide to report to HR, document the conversation in writing (emails to the TM are great for this) so that you have backup.
My managers, who have ranged for "meh" to "fantastic" have always said that as long as there is a reason they can provide for lower numbers than normal, there's no concern. Being out on PTO is a valid reason.
Lots of trash management that likes to chop you down no matter what! I wouldn’t worry about it. The ones that suck at their jobs as management have nothing better to do than point out metrics.
Call and report you TM to HR. Don’t go to upper leadership. They won’t help. If you don’t want to go to HR put your concerns in an email to your TM and print a copy for yourself. Once something is in writing they start singing a different tune.
