Is it the woman running it or Monish? Does she have authority to do anything?

As being assigned to SMO in HCBG I can say no - they don’t know what they’re doing. Nothing has changed and I have very low confidence in a Jan 1 spin. It’s beyond frustrating to watch it all go down.
SAP team or not, the problem is the lack of accountability. They won’t be part of Spin-off and do not care about people. They will cash a bonus and move to other job.
To the poster who says it is not the same team is not correct. It is the same people (for the most part) who were part of previous SAP deployments. If you want I can list off the names, but I don’t think we are allowed to here outside of Corporate Executives.
It is not the same group of people as who do SAP deployments. I’m not saying the SMO is doing a good job but it’s misleading to compare to SAP deployments, and it is definitely not the same team.
No
Love the sarcasm in this question…. Let me rephrase this question…
Who in ‘Upper Management’ knows what they are doing?
Same group of dofouses that lead SAP leadership deployment teams are managing Seperation management office. So as you can imagine the same ego's are in play. If they cared about success as much as they do milking out maximum salary's and titles. Very much reflect MR and Monish failed leadership legacy.
We are months away from soft spin and no leadership is in place. And no one knows comp, whether they go or not or location, so no. Is this a smo failure or Monish and Mike failure?
What does SMO mean?
Nope.... the same mo--ns are in charge here.
No they don’t. Look at the team members, same people who did terrible jobs with the SAP deployments. Why the same failures keep getting put on these types of critical projects is beyond me.
