The message did not convey a whole lot of new information. I feel about as much in the dark as before.

Sounds like MN impacts will be today.
Message just went out "we do expect to reduce our full-time workforce in the coming months. Individual employee notifications will begin today and will continue in the coming weeks and months as timelines across the globe will differ" The impactful vary by team region and country.
Rumor has it Dylan Mulvaney is on the Board.

I was laid off from MDT in 2021 on a Tuesday. The afternoon beforehand, maybe around 4:30'ish I received an invite for a meeting at 10:00 am the next morning. The meeting was 1/2 an hour. That was the telltale sign for me and when we all compared notes we pretty much knew in advance who was going and who was staying. I was laid off in a zoom meeting. Hopefully they have the guts now to lay people off face to face. I was in a group of about 30 in corporate IT. The VP was in the Netherlands.

The roadmap to success is so vague that artificial intelligence bots can probably write it. GM tries hard to act like a CEO, but he is acting like a politician. He only knows how to restructure. That's not being a visionary - that's just packing and moving from one location to another in simple terms. Being a visionary means you do whatever it takes to help patients, not create additional red tape.
Hope so, I do worry how poor Geoff is making ends meet these days.
I wonder if his layoff email will follow the lead of his layoff comments at the last Town Hall, and prominently feature his very expensive Rolex
Seem a couple of teams are getting cryptic emails.
GM message on Tuesday will be about “Our roadmap to success.” Wednesday will be the biggest layoff day but some occurred today and some will occur tomorrow. I am ver confident in this intel.
I suppose some communication is better than no communication, but excuse me if I’m not too optimistic about another ExCom message filtered through 15 different layers of Comms, HR, and Legal that will tell us nothing substantial, be overstuffed with talking points about Geoff’s “Mindset” and his “Roadmap to Extraordinary”, and give some specious explanation as to how this round of layoffs/reorg will somehow fix the problems that his last one only served to make worse
in SH&A and our GM will be in Mpls Tuesday and Santa Rosa Wednesday so we are guessing that is the order layoffs will go.

90% confident. Layoffs start tomorrow. Not sure if GM email will directly address that, but it’s (almost certainly) happening.
I heard it would be an update on org changes.
How confident are you with this? I don't want to get my hopes up thinking that my anxiety will be gone tomorrow.
