No performance reviews are a sign of significant trouble. If a company does not give their employees any feedback, RUN FOR THE EXIT, it’s not going to last much longer.

I'd love to be "promoted" at a company $2 billion in debt. How impressive.
I got promoted this year so I didn't even get the 2%🤷♀️🙄🙄
Negotiate a raise? Are you kidding? When has that ever happened at Belk?
i got out of belk last month after five long years.
my new job is much easier and more pay.
i feel bad for all the people still left working at belk, hopefully
they will find something better.
First of all, if a company of giving a 2% raise, something is wrong. Really wrong. Second, if no performance reviews are being administered, it’s because they are afraid of people asking for a raise AT THE REVIEW , so Belk just gives a measly 2% and hopes associates will not try to negotiate a raise. Any way you slice it, it’s bizarre and not normal.
Belk takes the cake as one of the strangest companies to work for in America, and that’s not a compliment.
I’m not sure, is it third year when it’s done like this? Third?? 2% flat for everyone and no reviews.
