Thread regarding Hertz layoffs

Start your engines..

Well, here we go again with unnecessary big spend to have all of the board and executives at the 24 hour of le mans race in France.. Massive layoffs to keep the funding to go play with race cars...

WOW!!! Keep applying yellow lipstick and it's still a pig... Wake-up investors..

If only the race car sponsorship were only $10-15M…Hertz would be in much better shape.

3 year $10-15mn contract to race a car??? Just think how many former employees you could have stayed working if you just ended this contract!!!

Talk about winning!!! Did you see the poor results of the Jota car in France? Well deserved outcome Hertz.

Executives deserve the right to continue their lavish lifestyles on Hertz' dime but not the people under them? Its greed, plain and simple. Layoffs happened on the back of those doing all the work, under the guise of "cost savings" - which is really just a cash grab to artificially inflate the stock. And who benefits from THAT? Yes, those "hard working executives." Let's call a spade a spade here.

Executive team works hard. They are constantly on the go. They earn the right to fly on the company jet and travel the world to events with the sponsors we pay millions to.
