When would we know about pay hike this year? didnt they say sometime in June?

It’s Sabre that does not deserve the Good people they have laid off over the years. We all bought into the rhetoric of how we are an asset and together we can conquer the world. But bad times and bad decisions change us to a liability .. more of the leaders need to be laid off rather than peons who are breaking their back for their job and Sabre.
We should find out the amount this month, and it takes effect first week of July. Though I don't imagine it being more than 2-3%... And there were a lot more insensitive commentary in this Town Hall too.... "back when i had a real job.." C'mon!
Agree Blood money of the RIF’d before, the Mgmt keeps stating now that we have rightsized we are good and here is your money to stay. Then we all shout with glee until our turn comes to sacrifice for the greater good of 1S…
This year’s raise is blood money. Yup the blood of those laid off. Sabre’s management is very insensitive and I do not see things ending well for this company.
The question on 5/5 of pay raises should have never been asked, much less answered. It was a completely insensitive topic. Very indicative of who is running the show at Sabre now.
And in this economy with inflation, if you expect a halfway decent raise you’re kidding yourself.
Back on May 4th at the town hall several things were mentioned. One, being this ugly layoff and two, oh by the way, those of you not impacted will still get raises in July. Such a class act.
