EVs are a distant future

EVs may be the future, but it is a much more distant future than they want to admit.

This, 100% this. I don't think anybody is denying that the future will belong to electric cars. But that future is not in five, ten, or even twenty years as so many are hoping and pushing for. People need to be realistic about this when making long-reaching business decisions.

Can't afford an EV? That's OK, you can keep your old car, but the price of gas has only begun to rise. It's hard to believe Michigan votes for politicians that support this, but they do. Nobody holds them accountable. We must follow the Paris Accord to save the planet - but tell me why China doesn't have any meaningful emissions reductions associated with that Accord? 100% of Chinese state sponsored scientists believe that the US and Western Europe must give up cheap energy to grow their economy, whoops, I mean save the planet.

Yup . . . Told y'all this 5 years ago and got nothing but frowns from the upper clowns . . . The near future is a totalitarian regime - Soon you will not care, as you cannot drive anything in a work/death camp.

But if JF and DF repeat tall tales often enough they will become true.

Now let’s all click our ruby red slippers together while we chant in unison.

Where is that magic wand?
