Hard to believe, but another round of layoffs going on today in both the digital banking and ATM group. People were already asked to fill in for lost team members from previous layoffs. Don't know how those remaining can possibly get the job done for customers. A very bad spiral down. Very good people still working there, they need to fly away and find a place to prosper.

Repeat after me. Serbia, I'm sure you will figure it out.
Anyone else see a lack of hiring positions in the US? Seems like a quiet freeze is happening. The split is going to be a cr-p show.
Sorry to hear you were let go. This proves my point that Management looks at money over performance. High performer they will cut you regardless. You will be better off that’s for certain. I would love to know when this transition will officially take place. My team has no updates for over a month now.
I was let go on Thursday as part of a small RIF at GHQ. Had been there 5+ years and was actually promoted a couple of months ago due to "exceeding expectations" in 2022. There is no such thing as job security at NCR, especially if the split is executed per plan; so I recommend to all who are still there to:
- Keep your resume updated
- Make sure you don't accrue much vacation since the company doesn't pay it out in most states/countries unless legally obligated to
- Be open to other external opportunites whenever possible
- Make sure to continue to grow and maintain your network - There are actually quite a few nice/helpful people who still work there from the "older" days
Wishing all who are still there the best of luck! I will continue to keep eyes on my "ex" over the course of the next few months to see where things go as I job search.
I have not heard anything about layoffs. Suspect post. NCR is horribly bloated in many areas and the ATM group from top management on down is below average at best and those are kind words. The cardtronics team ( now NCR ) is one of the worst teams all around. customer’s dislike them. No amount of layoffs would ever be enough .
Layoffs within the ATM group? How, I thought that area was given priority consideration as NCR heavily favors the Financial service part of the company. I’ve been told for a while now that Retail is fading and might be sold.
There are still a lot of legacy employees 25+ years who will pick up the extra work for free because they are so brainwashed into thinking there is no other place to work but at NCR. It's all they know.
Yea really get your 8 working hours in if you’re not on call and turn your phone off till tomorrow. But all you within a district have to do it. If your TM is any good they do it also
Hopefully those left do not cave in and just give up all of their work/life balance for a company that could care less about them. Don’t be afraid to say no and tell NCR to pound sand.
