We just finished the manager one and it maynot be layoff worthy but it is certainly indication of an exodus.

What are we gonna announce this quarter? The resounding success of GFES? The tech licensing deal to India fab? The end of Malta’s 50% cafe discount?
Terrible state . Hate to be in GF. No hope.. all junks in management and no vision.
Fake it till you make it. Gf motto. Truth is managers have no idea what goes on in the fab. Either that or they don’t care. Everyone’s quitting. HR IS BLIND. Good luck finding people to do the dirty work in the future. Safety is the main concern but they sweep that under the rug so they don’t have to deal with it. Smoke and mirrors. It’s all an act. You’re just a number.
@OP, but HR just told us attrition over last four years was at an all time low LOL!! Will there be anything positive presented? As another post indicated even Caulfield is cashing in his stock options and/or RSUs.
In case you’re not miserable enough at GF, they went ahead and scheduled an all hands for good measure. Enjoy, sheep
