What's it like working as US Expat for Aramco at KSA these days? Is housing covered or subsidized? Is the pay premium worth it over getting a similar position at a place like ExxonMobil?
Is it worth considering going without family, if you have family remaining in US, kids in good US schools, and working spouse, or would that be foolish to consider?
Are most of the Aramco expat positions now 5 year contracts?
The only rotation work that I know is in drilling & workover operations. Is this your line/expertise?
Avoid at all costs. US expats are becoming and endangered species. Risk/reward isn’t there anymore.

Forget an overseas assignment. You will end up working endless hours for a pay check that is not worth the hours. I recommend going a 28/28 rotation . That way you can leave the family in the home country and work only 6 months (every another month) a year for the same money (or more). It worked well for +3 decades for me before retiring several years ago. On your days off you can work a second job. What’s not to like . Then once you retire you can focus on your favorite beer and smoke toke while relaxing pool side. Life is a dream. Just do this and you’ll be ok.
