These TMs blow my mind! Call a meeting mandatory for 30 mins to discuss the rules of the company! No update on separation or if we are gonna have jobs but to complain about stupid stuff! When they don’t respond to emails or calls for issues! Then thanks us for the good metrics but we haven’t gotten a bonus in a long time! Thank me with my bonus! Sinking ship

Sad thing is most of these Tms that moved up forgot where they came from and only care about kissing corp bu-t! I seen one change completely in a matter of weeks! Sad the corporate kool-aid is more important than setting a standard! I think all CEs will be sold out almost like they want to run off everybody!
Yeah TMs should really take the ethics course as mine has very little. We have another higher level TM overseeing my area and my TM reports to him. Still waiting on some direction as to this split and who is going where.
My boss that replaced my old manager was a terrible tech for a couple years, became a TM for a few years, kissed major bu-t and got put in charge of the support team of all the sr guys with 25-50 years with ncr, but he couldn’t do the job that he was manager of. Mean while he gets sent to Serbia to train support people to replace his people he manages. On top he marries a Serbia women working at ncr and brings her back to our country. So unethical…… I never liked him and he terminated me cause he knew I had little respect for him, he hired his buddies to replace old guys retiring and the few he terminated. You can’t make this stuff up, the ethics training everyone takes does not apply to managers
Just guessing here, but I bet the majority of TM these days never carried a tool kit or ran any type of service call. Back in the “ good old days” the only way to be a TM was to start as a Field Engineer and work up. That way they understood the issues and needs of the job.
