Don't get too comfortable just because this round is done. There is always another one. And whoever they remove, someone else will step up and keep things rolling. That goes for everyone, even the CEO. The best move is to beef up your skills and make yourselves valuable in the job market. That's the only safety you can count on.

apparently JK is because they call for old employees to go and keep their job
I've heard someone mentioned 5/24, 8/16 & another shutdown week. The 5/24 did happen though.
BTW, another upcoming RIF would be in August.
