Woah! There’s a lot of drama in TA. From the sounds of it, you all are not kind to the branding team. These post are very nasty. I’d leave if I were them too.

If you think the branding team does the majority of your hires then you don’t understand what the branding team does. The area recruiters do more work for the hiring events that the branding team dies, but the branding team gets the credit. The area recruiters also work your reqs every day. They do the hard work. Branding TAPS just get to spend money for advertising. The real rd routers have to hunt out every hire. They don’t get a budget to sponsor jobs posts.

I’d have to disagree with the negative posts about the Branding team. There’s only 4 of them for the entire country? That’s a lot of work for 4 people. They seem to do a good job from what I have heard from other HMs. Maybe all TAPs should be Branding TAPs as it seems like Branding does create most of the hires, even between 4 people. Just a thought.

It makes sense to me. The Branding team seems to do the majority of the hiring for my zone. What it takes a regular TAP 3 weeks to do, they come in and do it in 3 days. I do like my TAP though.

TAs are a joke. The requirements and postings are ping pongs between TA and HR- they jobs never get filled. They are false reporting data on the number of hires. Each one need to go.

If our branding recruiter starts hiring for my location, I'm DONE! Our branding events are AWFUL! They are a joke. When I get a branding event for my location I spend lots of money to hire a few people that end up leaving the same week. The branding recruiters need to go. Or do a different job.

If you’re going to have to rely on the Branding team, then good luck! They are the worst of the TA team, from the Director down to the TAPs, all of them are totally useless. You’re better off just working the reqs yourself.

For NoNeedNoTa - understand this. The reason why your “worthless Recuriter” was not able to do their job fully was because of the reign that TA directors and above have. I magazine trying to work around them, let alone correct them when they are wrong lol.

The 2 peps a day - changing to 3 or more a day was horrible. Then explaining it to “hiring managers” like yourself and needing you to see the bigger picture was not possible. There is MAJOR DISCONNECT between OPS and TA and you can blame that on TA directions and above for that one.

If I were you I would keep your head down and shut up. Trust me it is in your best interest. Good luck with what you are working with. The marketing team is up to their ears with work and busy RUNNING THE COUNTRY while you are complaining about TA. News flash you id--t THEY ARE APART OF TA!!!!

Anyways. For any remaining recruiters left. Please PLEASE TAKE CAUTION. Know who you are, update your resume and get out ASAP!

My recruiter is great for my location. I guess it's not the same everywhere else. Maybe T.A. needs to hold the recruiters to a better standard.

Recruiters are worthless anyway. Never met a recruiter that actually helped the process. As a hiring manager I can read a resume and conduct an interview. It’s a waste of money. Good riddance.

Where did you get this information? Is it reliable? Do you know when this will start happening? I would rather not lose my TA partner. The talent that the hiring events bring in is not great.
