@4ikq+1mLYe2kM, There actually is a flea market in the same dead mall in Selma.
Just asking for a friend where's this flea market he's shy I'm just asking on his behalf
"People are stealing Polo? Lol
what is this 1992?"
Not sure why this one gets voted down. It's a valid criticism. And, while some people do still hold the brand in high regard, its "heyday" was the mid-80's.
I find it even funnier when I see where people are stealing "Beverly Hills Polo Club" merch, thinking it's the same as the "Polo" brand!
Really, before my time at "Blek" (which is, thankfully, lonnng over!), I always wondered why people gushed over the great deals they got on Polo merch at the local flea market. "Just a little ripped seam on the side, and I fixed it, no problem!" they'd say. Now, I know why! People stole the stuff from Belk en masse, ripped the security tags off, causing the damage, and then promptly sold the stuff for bank!
Amazing how commerce works, ain't it?!! Lulz!!!

that entire area is very, very poor, high theft, crime, homeless.
Not surprising whatsoever. Stayed there at the luxury inn and sweets in the fall(not even a mile from belk) and I thought the building was already closed. One in Auburn didn’t carry any nice brands like polo since theft was so bad, can’t even imagine how it was there. Especially when the Walmart across the street had multiple cops on guard in the lot and throughout the store.
