Our location is going through and effort to consolidate use of office space. I get that, but at the same time all the spaces they are creating have the short cubicle walls. Going into office creates enough distraction why make it worse with the short walls. It's going to be awful.

Cubicles in general display a lack of professionalism in an office environment. Throw in our anything-goes dress code . Add on hiring anyone with a pulse and giving them a checkbook. Expect them to understand and interpret policy language written by attorneys. Nothing like being told you are professional/technical or leadership and living in a fishbowl. No privacy, no way to work uninterrupted, noise from phone conversations and non-stop traffic passing by. Meanwhile, SMs and CMs hide in their office, door closed most of the day sending out emails about the metric of the day someone is not meeting. Spouting on about how EOM and coaching will save the day. Telling us help is on the way. How we hired 15k new employees in the last 18 mo and failing to include how 8k already quite within 6mo. How we need to tighten our belts on expenses while we fix almost every file an overpriced ECR jacks up. Short cubicle walls are not our biggest problem, just one of a long list of ways we have d-mbed down and dehumanized our workforce.
I think short walls is a great idea. It allows shrimps like Tipsturd to see over cubicles. Anyone else smell that? Oh, its Tipsturds career being flushed down the toilet.
Why dont we focus on problems that matter? This posts reeks of "im out of things to rag about" when there are many better topics to try to trash the company with.
Short cubicles have been the norm for people other than managers for a long time. I know a few LOC might have had the tall cubicles but those shut down before or during covid.
There is no "push" movement, or direction to go short cubicles. I dont think anyone cares and will be using the ones we already have.....
Another poorly made "trash the company" thread by the same person who junks up every thread here. So tiresome, just let us talk about our company in peace aggitator.
hubs have had short walls for like 10 years now. This bot poster is getting out of control. Well its not a bot more a disgruntled employee. See him on every thread with negative votes, typing like a child, using the same vocabulary in every post. Its so tiresome. Ever wonder why every downvoted post is typed in the same manner?
I like short cubicle walls. I enjoy the lack of privacy. The inability to be heard over the phone. Highly productive idea. Buh ha haha ha! Iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii dont give a darn about my bad reputation.
All the better to micromanage you with ...
An old OC? You must not work at SF anymore. They all closed 3 years ago
Welcome to SF 2010..you are a decade late as most areas have the short walls! You must be in a old OC or Bloomington...
Agreed, people constantly complain about people next to you talking loud. Makes no sense in claims, let’s make it harder to settle a claim because claimants can’t hear you do a release with them.
Added bonus, it gives you slackers no place to hide.
I like it, it enhances the experience for no panty fridays.
