Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

All planned to make Accenture take over

This goals have all been set to make so that employees fail and get laid off. Management want Accenture to take over everything and not concerned about employees. Employees are slowly disappearing and the company is not talking about it. If they make a mass layoff their accountability increases so management at its best is coming with excuses to make employees fail by giving ridiculous annual goals. If management fails still they will have their jobs and bonuses. If employees fail good to get rid of them in-spite of being a star performer. All planned to make Accenture take over. More payment has been given to Accenture to get rid of employees.

Half way down is the revenue growth chart for Accenture. Seems to peak with the AIG deal....

Consistent with AIG history. Execs come in, bring their consultant friends, and set up fool proof model. If ideas work, execs get paid and the credit. If they do not, like AIG200 and everything else they’ve done in past several years, then they blame the employees for not “executing”. Fool proof model. At AIG, corruption pays.

Accenture can't do the job, they are worthless. Not because in AIG we are all smart and they are stupid, just this isn't their cup of tea, everytime one person in Accenture leaves his knowledge is lost, the replacement will have to start from scratch. They can't retain the insurance know-how, also because insurance people don't want to work for them so they hire only young ones or people that previously were providing support for copymachines... In any case, I don't care, I live in Europe and we have social security, if they fire me I'll find another job but for know I'm totally ok (except for strict work-from-home policy). Btw in my branch they are still hiring because people leave in pack every once in a while!!

The top of the house doesn't need to manufacture a reason.

There is no conspiracy with performance or goals. They don't matter like that.

It is not that complicated.

Pz want to keep certain roles and shed others. To sell or keep business units. Accenture promises they can support the business model he wants. He believes them. Work moves.

Your performance isn't going to save roles and isn't needed to justify moving roles.
