What I've observed:
- Cisco tends to lay off the older, highly skilled and motivated support staff, sales, engineers and internal staff. Obviously this eventually affects customers.
- Many of those laid off land at corps that use Cisco products. They don't forget how they were treated. First chance they get, first excuse, Cisco is replaced. I know about this personally. :)
- Enough with the offshoring. It doesn't work. You end up with bad products, buggy software, buggy devices, and horrific support.
You used to be able to rely on Cisco for good support. That is no longer the case and removes the justification for paying more for their products and services.
It appears that CR is doubling down by cutting more staff and offshoring.
Does he have no clue? ELT, maybe listen to those several steps below your highly paid sycophants who just lie to you.
