I'm anticipating two scenarios:
- good merit increase but another round of cut because of increased costs;
- low merit increase, let people leave through attrition
Both don't sound exciting though.

I wonder how sucky the merit raises will be for anyone left especially with inflation through the roof . Promotion in title only and still waiting on the pay that should have come with it for over a year.
