GHQ rumors (I work there) are that South Tower will be for ATM if they are not able to lease it out & North will remain for Retail+Payments. I wish I could get an external vertical opportunity (would leave in a heartbeat if so); but easier said than done since I'm in my mid-40s.
Diebold in March told the fed they were nearing bankruptcy, they are actively trying to find lenders to give them money to keep the lights on. Diebold is on life support, they are completely screwed.

Thought it was a hundred year lease. That’s what the tour guide told us when we were being shown around the new campus. If NCR longer exists then that’s one way to get out of a hundred year lease.
Most likely there is an “out” clause with Cousins that allows them to break the lease if “NCR” no longer exists, is split up, etc.
Gossip, yes. This is the site for rumors. NCR will break the lease, they have before. Same as they have never lived up to any of the agreements for job creation to get tax breaks. Columbus, GA; Atlanta, GA: Columbia, SC just to name a few.
We were told about 8 years ago at a department meeting that the lease of the 2651 Satellite Blvd. building expires in 2025 and NCR wasn't going anywhere.
Unloading the building shouldn't be hard. Keeping both companies in the existing building is impossible.
Nobody knows what will happen, company is very secretive and will spring it on the employees last minute. If you can get out, now is the time, it’s just going to get worse
Guess what ? You're spreading gossip. NCR doesn't own the building, Cousins Properties owns the building. NCR signed a 15 year lease so unless NCR is paying a huge penalty or Cousins is allowing them to sub-lease it that would be untrue. Only other possibility would be if NCR is going to pay the huge penalty to get out and Cousins sells.
Diebold buying ;). Would make sense to split for sale. Why would you split otherwise. Second chance pitch this time.
Retail already has large presence in TX with the old RetailX offices and data center.
It is more likely the reverse with ATM going to TX..... while waiting for food on 6 last week a tour walked by being escorted. They were being shown all the options the building had from the conversation these individuals were having...
