Use your time wisely this week, this will be dependent on age and years of service.

If your severance will be small use this time to job search with many wonderful online options available, Glassdoor, Indeed, Monster, Zip Recruiter and many more. It’s a great time to be looking for a new job.
If your mid career with family concerns it’s time to get the resume cleaned up and start looking for high quality companies that are not one trick ponies. Lots of jobs out there so broaden your horizons maybe a smaller more agile company with much less management. Take this time to think what makes you enjoy your workday and head that direction.
Late Career types, get your financial house in order think about talking to a Financial Advisor about next steps after Seagate. Tax implications can be an issue will large severance packages, don’t get a nasty surprise come tax time. If you need health insurance maybe take a less stressful job with good benefits to finish things up.

I see that one can buy again on the WD.com sites products.
Now management can fully focus on the lay-offs after the site is fixed.

Thanks HR for the direction on what us old people need to do. It will be a pleasure to get out of this ageist company. Inclusion and diversity in WD does not include anyone over 50. Ask JK.. "our sales team is old" We need more NCG's! He forgets he is getting older too.... His day in "old court" will come.

dentist, annual physical, eye exam, immunizations, and colonoscopy for the whole family, while the benefits last. It is a good idea, even if one keeps the job.
