Thread regarding 3M layoffs

How ironic if some laid-off 3Mers end up at Kearney

I wonder where people are going to end up when the trimming/slashing is done (this round at least). Sure, competitors will snap up some of the talent but not all of it.

3Mers could definitely outclass some of the Kearney losers that have swarmed on the 3M carcass. Imagine having to work for tiremans son at Kearney. That would be taking life full circle.

I worked on 3M project at Kearney, it was all bluff being fed by consultants from unknown MBA programs hied based on diversity quota.

Sounds like Vale could end up at Kearney. He'll need a job to pay off his divorce settlement. And with this latest move at 3M, he has shown himself worthy of being a consultant of how NOT to sc--w a career.

A few years prior to McNerney our group had a rogue boss who forced team training on us, a group of mostly guys who had been working together for 20 plus years and on project teams. 🙄 He brought in a clueless high paid consultant who had us focusing on unimportant ambiguous issues. Ultimately this boss was fired from 3M, a rare occurrence at that time. I can imagine this Kearney arrangement is comparable and worse, forcing talented people to run in circles explaining things to these so called experts.
