This is simple. Melvin, Small Hands, and Wi--y Sears all got where they are by politics, bullshating, and kissing A. Retail ability and Home Improvement knowledge has zero to do with it. Hence, they now expect the slaves that work under them to do the same. It is ALL THEY KNOW HOW TO DO. One of the best ways to kiss A is to upload the pictures of one aisle of the store that has been worked on for 2 days while the rest of the store sits in a cesspool of excr-ment. Reality: Blowes doesn't pay anyone (except Marvin and Small Hands Joe) like rock stars. What they pay is more like an Arlo Guthrie cover act playing at the local dive bar on open mic night

Pictures, pictures, pictures. It sounds annoying and pointless. Only the order is being communicated, and not the reason. That's unfortunate.

I don't know what the reason is, but here's my guess - your district is a pilot test for some sort of machine learning program for inventory management, and your pictures provide the data necessary to train an object recognition algorithm. Each picture provides a data points to train or test a statistical model for object recognition accuracy. Once built, tested, and validated, someone won't have to physically lift and count boards or plants. Instead, they'll take a picture and the computer will recognize all the object edges and count for you. That's my guess for why they are asking for them, but I could be wrong.

Totally Agree- Management cares more about their stupid LinkedIn posts than actually taking care of customers. I cannot tell you how many times they all stand around with their stupid thumbs up in the air for a picture all while customers are searching for help. Go look at their posts- "Amazing rockstars!" Baloney- rock stars party like frat boys..

Did I mention that the district managers came to my store recently? Even they didn’t notice my department because they never WENT to my department!!! LMAO! These people are whole box full of clowns. They spent 99% of their time in f*cking garden and the offices. They didn’t even look in my direction. 🤣 The piles of dirt are spotless but my whole department is down in sales and filthy. Hmmm, you’d think no one was down stocking it anymore! 😈
