Thread regarding T-Mobile layoffs

Constant fear of losing a job

They have created a terribly toxic atmosphere where people are constantly worried about how much longer they will have a job.
I don't know if anyone thinks that their job is a little more secure?
Are there any positions that are perhaps a little safer?

T-Time is for getting to 120% utilization, managerial bonuses, layoffs where expected, how else do you pay 1.3 billion for Mint mobile.

I suggest OP talking to a psychiatrist. You may have chemical imbalance and prone to anxiety. Jobs are up and down. That is the life. Be well and know there is professional help availble I think you call the LiveMagenta help line.

Btw, I haven't come across a 20+ year legacy Sprint employee who had a clue how to be successful at T-Mobile. Maybe it's not age at all, but 20 years of working in that environment that's the problem.

I don't see this zombie nonsense the prior poster mentioned. I see motivated people kicking a-s who also happen to be experiencing stress due to the non-stop rumor mill about layoffs. I'd hate to work wherever some of you people work in the company. Culture=People. Being a better person can go a long way!

T-Mobile US is an American company that is publicly traded and anyone can buy shares. DT's shares recently exceeded 50%, but that doesn't make it a German company. There are a lot of problems, but this isn't one of them.

The "T" in T-Mobile stands for Telkom and Toxic too. It's not a U.S. company and it dosen't care about U.S. workers. I've seen once nice people reduced to zombies doing what ever they need to just to survive with very little bandwith left for kindness or compassion. Don't drink the Koolaid it's poison!

You can complain about one form of discrimination without being a transphobic bigot.

As one of the few that were let go in April I feel no job is secure, especially if you’re an ex-Sprint employee with over 20 years of experience and of a certain age. Ageism is alive and well at T-Mobile. But thanks goodness we had a trans gender bathroom while employees are laid off and whomever is left has to pick up the slack. Good luck and my recommendation is get out while you can!!
