Thread regarding 3M layoffs

Now I'm really steamed.

This company has messed with everyone's careers, with the environment, and now with the stock market. I care more about losing my investments than losing my job. Stock price below 100??? Now I'm steamed.

our plant is down to around 40 workers including around 10 contingenty workers, the way we are continually treated by a site manager who doesn't understand we keep him in his role, now we stand united in only doing the bare minimum, it is also strange to see 30+ salary worker not doing much in the offices and sometimes two people doing one role

As for you quiet quitters, my army of Kearney consultants has monitored keystrokes all year long. They have given me a special, top-secret report with the gory details. If necessary, we will layoff more than the 8500 thus year until only the buttkissers are left.

Sell your GESPP now if you don't want to see it drop to $80. You can mark this post and come back to validate.

Don't get mad? This person is upset about stock prices dropping and you're telling him to quiet quit? Interesting...if people aren't doing the work, not meeting back order, not doing their job...that's probably just as a big of an impact on the company stock as these other things everyone is so concerned about. Give me the negative reaction on this but Quiet Quitting is not the answer. People need go grow up and stop being so entitled. Go to work, do your job, control what you can control.

Probably shouldn't have invested more than you're willing to lose in the company you work for. Something about having all your eggs in one basket...

Don't get mad. Get even. Quiet quitting is the rage these days. Even the bu-t kissers who schmooze up to the EVPs in maplewood just go back to their cube and play on their phones.

Why work hard on the 3M penal colony when whatever good you produce is just taken by the 15 grade and up (and they take credit). Realize that they crowd of bosses are useless if their sharecroppers don't till the ground.
