Well SD1 is near. If you haven’t been placed in a job by now or been told they want to retain you, you are being laid off.
With SD1 in May . June , July, August will be heavy layoffs of UB folks. Take your bonus and run because there is nothing else to stick around for .

Rolling Layoffs in MUFG have started !
Many MD’s should be pushed down to directors at MUFG. Payroll will need to be adjusted down as well. ECA and Tokyo had no idea how much UB was covering for MUFG Americas and how unprofitable some of the other businesses were or are. Expect all of Americas to be no more that 2500 people. Tokyo will never learn their lessons and how inefficient they are. They will take over and oust Kevin . Hopefully they see how useless the current ECA is and make changes , like CRO, CFO, Strategy, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, Risk, LOB leaders, etc
MUFG MD’s are being demoted to Director and leaving the company. Working at MUFG has been the most stifling experience because of Japanese culture. Bunch of paper pushers who do not trust Americans. Looking at getting out of here .

Legacy MUFG Bank is no good either . Bunch of paper pushers with a patriarchal Japanese culture. They are going to spin-off their remaining Commercial Banking business too in a few years and exit Americas eventually.
USB has no interest in the UB folks. They look down on UB thinking the bank failed. Don’t hold your breath waiting for someone to tap you on the shoulder and welcome you with open arms . USB has a lot of worthless managers .

Omg!!! Nobody knows about risk or any other departments! At this point every one needs to just play the waiting game as we have been doing since December 1, 2022.
