Thanks for running NI into the ground Davern, Starkloff, and Green. EMR bought a tu-d and now we’re laying ppl off. And it sounds like Emerson is just as poorly run.
At NI, we’re used to sh*tty mgmt and no/low raises. What can the average NI employee expect NI is acquired? How soon do layoffs occur post acquisition? Does Emerson offer severance packages?

Emerson goes to the ends of the Earth for their employees… So they can pay them 20% of what an American earns!
My division decided to spend down by taking trips.
I worked for a division that blew through half a billion while it laid off half my team when things went south. And shortly after announced they were doing even more acquisitions. I couldn’t get management to approve things for me to improve my skills. I even offered to pay for my hotel for conferences. This company has always operated this way.
I give NI 5 years until it is fully infected with the Emerson culture and their products start sucking and all their major milestones for projects get missed by years to decades.
The same old 2.5 to 3%. Those NI employees have a rude awakening coming.
