Thread regarding AIG (American Intl Group Inc.) layoffs

System failures

It's really frustrating. I wonder if system failures will become more frequent? I wouldn't be surprised if it happens, but I'd love to be wrong.

Duck Creek should be substituted for S Creek. If you knew how many palms were greased to do that contract, you would be….wait, that’s everyday business here, kickbacks and conflicts of interest.

IT has never been a strong point of AIG. I got used to it, if something doesn't work, I wait until it does or I just use a workaround. If something is too slow or doesn't work how it's supposed to, I just change method. In the worst case scenario, I open a ticket and surf Facebook or news sites on the phone (I get paid anyway)

You ever notice the D in Duck is right next to the F on the keyboard. Naming typo I suspect. Ha.

Most of our systems are old but work
The new systems such as Duck Creek is absolute GARBAGE.

UW hates it
Claims hate it
Brokers hate it

It should be called “DEP”
DOING EVERYTHING POORLY

Agreed its Extremely frustrating. Its not helpful when trolls try to gaslight those of us reporting all of the problems and try to minimize the consequences of us not being able to do our jobs effectively. Even managers try the gaslighting too as if they can't admit what they know is a really bad problem.
