If something happened in my function, I probably wouldn’t share it specifically either because we are such a small function someone would immediately know who I was. I’m sorry your Director got RIF’d. I hope they find a role that fits them better than MDT.

First, posted to confirm. There’s a lot of misinformation on these boards. This is not one of those posts. Second, already stated below Senior Leadership is Director and above. Common terminology at Medtronic. So to clarify, a Director or above individual in a non-OU function was RIF’d.
If you're not going to post actual details then why bother posting. No one's asking for the name btw but there are plenty of other details you can provide like function, or at least the level like director/VP...wtf is a senior leader?
Not an OU. There are a few functions that are not tied to OUs. This was in one of those. Not going to get more specific. Too much info would allow others to guess who it might be. Not my message to disseminate or control beyond the group(s) that was notified about this.
