So GM just fired a percentage of salaried employees for so-called "performance" issues; goes thru a fairly costly VSP; threatens an ISP; severely restricts travel and OT......all in a desperate attempt to reduce costs by $2 Billion. You might think that most of the company's cash reserves would be highly protected at this stage from frivolous spending, right? Wrong! Every GM facility is installing special "clown" bathrooms for those 0.001% of the employee population that pretends to be "clowns". This cannot be cheap! Talk about tone deaf. This is surely a wokeplace of choice!

Poor judgment by the SLT.
There's no reason people who took the VSP should work for the months they're going to hang around.
They know they're going and have a guaranteed pot of money locked in.
At best, they're available to ask questions, but won't do anything else.
GMs decision to keep the people who took the VSP was poor. They should have been let go within 2 two weeks. Now, many of them are focusing on their exit and not working as before, and that is what they should be doing!
I just do not understand how this will benefit GM!!! My organization is drowning under work with no progress-HELP!!!
There are so many empty buildings at the tech center that you can pick one and have several restrooms all to yourself. Talk about waste! Those buildings have heat, running water and electricity with maintenance workers, etc. For what?
It’s a ghost town. But for how long?

Clowns have been identifying as engineers and management for years at GM. No special restrooms necessary.
Or you can just do your job and stop making yourself upset about what other people do that doesn't affect you.

I don't think these he/she guys want a special restroom. They really want to use the women's restroom for some reason.
Incidentally, I never saw a woman in the men's restroom. Not once.
