Accepting a worse offer

I'm still here only because I can't get a better offer but I'm rather picky when it comes to accepting new work. However, isn't it surprising how many people accept even a lower paying job just so that they are no longer here?

It's not worth the heartaches of going home and worrying about the company and its customers. Too many self medicators within. Too many adulterers, too many with mental illness, and too many chosen ones. If you can continue to work in such a pathetic environment and keep your health it's ok but the majority lose their health. Todays world, not a worthwhile occupation. Not respected anymore due to process/task function vs customer and employee service driven.

Any worse monetary offer is still better than the current soul sucking situation. No amount of money can fix serious menta/physical health issues or mend a broken family.

When you are constantly doing the work of five people for the pay of one… you gladly leave for fair pay.

Most people who have been here for years accept a lower paying job just to get out and gave a regular paycheck, benefits, etc. This isn’t surprising at all. Money can’t buy peace of mind and happiness. I’m considering lower paying jobs simply because I want my life back.
