Thread regarding VMware layoffs

Switch software bad reason

imagine company use product have this details:

handles very large files easy
allows file annotations
fast network access
backup
1000s of concurrent users
tracks changes to files
in use for more 20 years

poseur want switch company to use differ software. software not
stronk for job.

not handle large files
not annotate
slow to existing product
not handle 25 years data already saved
Additional software needed for equal

they know not stronk. have list for cover to make seem good.

cover plan is delete large files, change workflow, ignore 25 years
history by flush and start new history. 25 years history will in
refuse box

management should:

ask why switch to less stronk software
allow project no question

Oh, I finally understood what the OP is trying to do.
They are writing some kind of poem and using poetic license to bypass language syntax.

Magoo has a couple of napkins where he tries to keep track of customers. I heard they are stronk 3 ply napkins and you can use a paper clip to attach large files. Eventually his assistant takes them away when he isn’t looking and puts them in a shoebox in a utility closet for safe keeping, right next to his trunk full of wrinkled clothing.

My field based role has no direct involvement in this "stronk" problem, but nevertheless I'm sure we will feel the fallout of it at some point. Is it correct to assume that the forced migration from Oracle to SAP is probably driven as a "Quid Pro Quo" in exchange for them buying a krraappp ton of software from us. If so, it sounds like a classic case of exec driven agenda to an inferior solution regardless of the consequences.

This is a live report from the trenches as people are forced to adopt SAP for product management and accounting.
Note: they've already broken everyone's will.

There's never a sane reason to shift from Oracle to SAP for product management, but VMware has chosen to die on this hill and drag all of the back office into the abyss.

Even better, WWO is showing off how successful they are doing it - while completely ignoring existing processes, ignoring advice from consultants who have actually succeeded at this sort of thing, and then using the move to SAP as an excuse to shove 80% of requirements into the void.

Agile never looked so good!

Is this reporting a plan to replace some integral software with less capable software, and the advocates will paper over the loss of functionality?
