I thought we are doing amazing and knocking it out of park. Do we really need these layoffs or are we just following everyone else who is laying off today. Or, is the management using this just to 'clean the house'. Or, are we this greedy that we need to find that extra penny. Not sure, I know that people are anxious.

I thought this was a cost-saving measure, but an Inquirer article came out that explicitly states that this is not about financials. Not to mention, I heard that in a town hall a day or two after layoffs, leadership was telling everyone how well the company is doing. This has been messy and mishandled.

Yes, company consistently grows at an annual rate of 8%. However, overall expenses outpace growth— last year expenses were 14%. Travel budgets were cut, open positions are going unreplaced and now we have RIFd 450 associates. Our global offices have not yet restructured.
