3M’s healthcare spinoff may not stay in Minnesota, Star Tribune reports
Guess will move to Texas

I'm pretty sure you folks saying Texas are wrong! It would make sense however with a Healthcare HQ already there.
There is a 3M building that is pretty massive and almost empty in Austin. That is the likely spot...
Ireland?
There is no place in MN called Ireland.
We get it, you've never been to the the Twin Cities. You don't need to keep reminding us by saying it is 'burning to the ground'. Unlike your neighbor's me-h trailer, it is actually a pretty nice place around here.
Upton Sinclair's "The Jungle" was a warning, not a how-to manual.
Regarding something as important as office location, I’m sure some master black belt will be trotted out that doesn’t really have checkboxes or a list of “must-haves” to help with the vetting process.
I believe when you know, you know - you know?🤷🏼♂️
A fun fact about me.
I’m legitimately bad at lawn sports - croquet, lawn darts, bocce ball, and corn hole. Why do my coworkers insist on a tournament 🏟️ around these events every year? I’d rather go home 6 hours early.
It’s going to Ireland 🇮🇪 didn’t you already hear that… strange
Points to Iowa for allowing teens and parents to choose the dignity and life lessons of work instead of watching tiktok videos, living off the government, and suckling on mommy until 26 years old. When given a choice, Spinco will not stay in Minnecrapolis.
Everyone once in a while the right reminds us how hurt their feelings are with some nonsense on here. No one thinks about your rural town even 1% as hard as you think about Minneapolis and its crime. MPLS isn’t going to call you, MPLS isn’t going to date you, MPLS doesn’t care about you.
Last time I checked Tennesse wasn't burning their cities to the grounds...oh and last week their was a mu---r su----e on my street. Based on vary's logic, my neighborhood now has a higher violent crime rate than evert state in th U.S. Must be a former black belt that makes illogical data comparisons. Go Bisons and Volunteers!
Texas is the only guess listed so far that might make business sense. I'm not sure it has much of an advantage over Minnesota, we'll see.
MN is the short term home. I could see staying long term, or move to another state with a decent-sized health care company base. (TX, CA, MA, NC, GA are a few possibilities.)
Your comment is basically: "Say you aren't from the Twin Cities without saying you aren't from the Twin Cities."
Every single state you listed also has a higher violent crime rate than Minnesota, so much for law-and-order.
Iowa - So pro-worker so we're legalizing 14-year-old kids working in meat packing plants like it's 1906 all over again.
Tennessee - Still has dry counties, also more than double MN's violent crime rate.
Florida - "Florida Man" is a reputation that is very well-earned.
Dakotas - Yep, we can't recruit because of winter weather in MN, so let's try someplace with just as much winter, a lot fewer trees, and even fewer people to recruit from. On the plus side you could put HQ right next to Brookings plant.

Oklahoma - Let's take Texas, but take away most of the good stuff, like beaches and decent restaurants, and add extra tornados.
Texas. We are now a wound care company so San Antonio is wound care based KCI is located.
OK will be my choice.
Good weather ......let's ignore the tornadoes for now......friendly people and low taxes.
Why stay in MN? Terrible weather. Minnesota nice was proven to be bs when Minneapolis nearly burned to the ground. I hope HCBG goes to a state that is pro worker and law and order. Texas, Tennessee, Florida, Iowa, North and South Dakota to name a few.
No surprise here...likely to move to a low tax state like TX.
