They only care about shareholders

My perception is that leadership only care about themselves and how to make shareholders happy. Is it even possible for shareholders and employees to be both happy at the same time? It would be a good thing for everyone if the leaders sometimes took into consideration the employees and the long-term benefits for the future of this company.

Most employees sell at least some stock at least annually. It's just more public with C-level executives and their volume is much higher. Also, Neville's retiring. If I was, I'd be cashing out as well! I sell my RSUs the moment they vest every single cycle. But I've done that through all ups and downs. Not a big deal at all.

First sentence you read in a business textbook is the CEO doesn’t not care about the day to day. They only drive a stock price or they’re out.

Most publicly traded companies that treat their employees well are usually the exceptions, not the norm (Costco being one that comes to mind).

The Legere years are gone and they're not coming back.
