Stirring the pot at Bammel

I've heard rumors the shop hands are in talks with a local union reps to try and take a vote for the Bammel repair floor

The union rep says he believes from what he has been told by multiple employees on the shop floor. He has enough votes to adopt a (opt In/ opt out) union at Bammel.

If this holds water I think the mandatory 12hrs, 6 days a week has finally made people sick of sweet cheeks running the floor like a prison.

I've been at Bammel 10 plus years and this by far is the worst it has ever been. We don't have the work to stay on 12s 6 days a week.

Sweet cheeks just wants to pad the books for his bonus.

Speculation I've heard was during the open door job fair that Bammel had a few weeks ago. Some under the radar union approved employees applied for jobs, I don't know if they where chosen for the positions. If so it would seem that a union maybe possibly in the near future.

The yes man that runs the shop will lose his authoritarian grip on the floor.

It would make sense since Texas is a opt in/out state for unionization.

There's no way any of the shop hands at bammel are talking to any union. I know most of the people still there, most if not all of them would be to afraid to talk to a union.

Change your tamp-n and get back to work. Unions are company killers. Take that talk back to California

They should go back to the good old days! When the service techs got home from a job, they had to work in the shop until the next service call! This might actually help all of them learn how to actually fix stuff, instead of getting paid to watch TV and eat groceries offshore!

I've heard shop hands talking about this at that location. Seems like they picked the yes man of all yes men to run the shop floor.

I don't blame the guys, hope it takes effect to prove a point.
