This site is at it again; it deleted a post made Sunday from someone that wished everyone still working at Ford Happy Easter. Went to view it today and it was gone; did not realize that such a thing was so controversial. What is this world coming to?

Do you genuinely believe that Ford HR employees cruise this site and pick fights on Ford's behalf?
I know some of our HR colleagues and I can assure you that they are not the ones choosing who gets canned. They have no say in any of that. And Ford has been downsizing HR for years. Their department is grossly understaffed in the US due to offshoring. I know this site tends to hold HR responsible or at least complicit - and I'm not going to try to convince anyone otherwise.
Having said all of that - I have absolutely had posts deleted. Some made sense to delete. Others seemed like overkill.
@1uys, my two cents, someone (HR?) is trying to bring politics on every single thread here on purpose, just to steer the pot and divert the conversation from the real issues, so I'm really glad it gets deleted.
How dare you say that about diversity initiatives??
Ford is so far behind our competitors with regards to diversity employees. That's why we are focusing on hiring more and more minority employees.
You know what's really interesting about chat boards, social media and corporations and the government is that they say you can't talk about politics and religion but everything they do is political and religious. Religions of today are crimate change, DEI, trans, Marxism, critical theory, secular humanism, human rights, empathy, BLM, etc. ... we get lectured at work and controlled by the social media about their religion but if you reject any of these ideas you are racist, s-xist, phobic, bigoted.
This is a copy-paste from one of the older threads here:
This forum is not associated with neither Ford nor the government. It’s a website about layoffs with hundreds of forum boards like this one, one for the employees of every major company.
It has a few simple rules listed in the footer that apply to all forum boards, but it comes down to this:
- don’t name names
- don’t course or insult others
- no off-topics like politics and religion
Other than that, pretty much everything flies.

We here at Ford Motor don't want no DEI. we don't want no Critical Race Theory in our schools or in OUR company.
This company is run by majority White Men. This company had better start treating us better!
Here we go and someone has to spout off about Twitter and Facebook. Yeah, they are private entities and can do what they want. But you miss the point that they should make it clear in their stated policy that they allow ONLY ONE POINT OF VIEW and they are biased toward it. And they will work with that political party to make sure only that party opinion is represented on their platform. That is known as being truthful.
I've read that post, it contained words like "loonies" and "nut-jobs" and a bunch of other personal insults, that's probably the reason it got deleted.
That's because White Christian MEN are under attack at Ford Motor Company...
I bet we can't say Merry Christmas to every single person anymore...
And I bet they want remove "In God We Trust" from the money just because not all Americans believe in the same religion.
I'm sick of these DEI initiatives at this company. What we need are prayer groups.
A Festivus for the rest of us... Get out the pole.
There must be terms of service (TOS) on this site somewhere. It may fall under something there regarding religion. I do understand your point but I also understand site owners putting restrictions - its their website we're using for free. I've never understood all the outrage over twitter and FB restrictions when people are using it for free and the company decides to place rules. That's free market capitalism that everybody here say's they are in favor of (but only when its in THEIR FAVOR - no pun intended LOL).
