Thread regarding NCR Corp. layoffs

Morale is bad

Morale is really bad I agree. Worked with a CE earlier this week who gave their 2 weeks notice. Really good guy, knowledgeable and works hard found a better opportunity and more $$$. Before this transition starts I hope to be on the way out also. Bad communication throughout this whole split no idea where I would land. Hard coming into work not knowing what the future is but just doing my job for now. One of our Retail customers just laid into NCR management for better service so waiting to see the result of that.

Well said, @1hcg+1lMMPNkH.

Instead of complaining about it like a ballless skidstain, do something about it. Like creat a subreddit called NCRQ (ncrs stock ticker + Q at the end signifying bankruptcy) and lobby people to short the stock.

Your TM’s new supervisor has no control of the direction. Told the plan by a SVP and given marching orders.

Thank you that was my post under another subject line. I call it like I see it and it doesn’t look good right now. My TM has a new supervisor and we have a team call tomorrow with him. Curious to see what he has to say and what direction this is going in. I am full steam ahead with looking elsewhere. We are not being given an opportunity to train in other retail accounts so not sure what that means for me and my team member. NCR is dead set on saving money no matter what and doesn’t mind sacrificing accounts to do it.

look around your daily life. atms and pos are not the only machines out there. all machine need some kind of service. take your average 7-11 for example...
Soda machine
Slurpee machine
Coffee machine
Coolers
Lottery
Meat slicers
Ovens

all of these are made by a company that need you, a trainable tech, with a mechanical background, clean driving record and most of a very good reason to why your looking for a new job. that being your current job is going down faster then the titanic.

being employed is better then being unemployed when applying for a job.
