Hey 4 days (mon-thur) and get a personals cube, 3 or less days a hotel cube (no thanks) I mean what's 1 more day ?
I received no email, nor did anyone on my team. I guess my OU is safe.
No email on RTO. I know folks are talking about and but have not yet heard anything official. Expecting 10% to leave once implemented. Ugh. Will take us a year to hire for those spots given how slow we move.
Global IT were told to RTO on 05/01
Also can verify that Global IT and some Clinical/Regulatory groups have received this notification. 5/1 implementation date, 3 days on-site mandatory for employees not marked as "remote" in Workday.
I didn’t get an email either. My OU has gotten emails from excom about RTO before, but there has never been an actual RTO mandate.
I just checked my email and deleted items folder and I did not receive a company wide email regarding RTO. Maybe that means I’ll be RIF’d next week 😂
Maybe site specific! We did not get that email today.
To those questioning this. There was literally a company wide email on it... did you bother logging in today?
I am generally ok with a 3 day office. There could be some value to it. I am just hoping they don't track/enforce entry/exit times. I would still like the flexibility to finish up a few early morning meetings before getting to work.
The pump order sales rumor is not a rumor it is a fact. I know many people on that department who were complaining for over a year that pump sales agents were not doing there jobs. It was also seen in the order flow. So stop calling is a baseless rumor. Take it as the fact that it is. We all got screwed because of id--ts who refused to do their job and quit like little children on their first day back on the office.
This company has ALWAYS glorified the sales department when the sales department has always been an issues in this company.
But don't blame the sales agents who did not quit. They were and are doing their job. It was the ones who quit well screwed is all over.
That’s what I was told by recruiter as well when I was applying internally.
Great job by Excom atleast for once.
Now they should start tracking at badges at entrance to enforce this.
You can't make a blanket statement like that for all of MDT. There are too many OUs and functions who operate and get work done differently. It's not a one-size fits all. The VP over our function mentioned she is not enforcing us to change our work location.
RTO was supposed to be phased in. For diabetes they went all in due to Que and are already back to RTO 5 days whereas in other businesses its a phase in approach.
Stop accusing people of lying when you yourself are an outsider and don't know sh-t
Thanks for the baseless rumor. Give evidence or gtfo. We have heard RTO requests from execs before and they have never been enforced. My building can’t even hold all the people hired over the past few years and GM said we would be closing physical locations in the future due to low demand for office space.
Wrong, that was a lie. 2 weeks after that was announced we were told to be back in the office full time. Most if not all Medtronic is back in the office full time, because pump sales was lazy and refused to work more then 3 orders a day for each agent.
You want to know who to blame? Blame pump sales. They have always been the problem.
How did you get that info and is it company wide or certain locations only?
