HR at any company has a sole reason for existence. Protecting the company, NOT the employees.
At many companies there is a second reason. Cisco is the only company I worked at where I didn't know for a fact that the HR people were sleeping with married executives and that's likely because our site didn't have local HR. Sometimes they protect friends of those executives over the entire company.
Cisco or not. HR at any company has a sole reason for existence. Protecting the company, NOT the employees. Period. Don't trust any of them. Their job is to manipulate you so they can claim the company wasn't at fault and you are.
@ap hmm.. HR is filled with 2nd lady people, you won't get true justice for your case, please move on.. my 2cents (or 20cents).
