Employees at Regional Acceptance Corporation will lose their jobs as the company permanently closes its facilities. The auto finance company, a subsidiary of Truist, is exiting the near-prime auto lending business. This decision follows an agreement to sell $5.5 billion of auto loans. Layoffs will begin around November 30, with both locations expected to cease operations by early 2027. A total of 253 full-time employees will be affected by the closures.
