Blame the previous a*hole CNS VP who came in and turned the department up side down. Glad he got kicked out as soon as Fr4nk was let go. The mess he left behind still needs lot of clean up. The buddies he brought in as Sr. Directors are all kissa*s working remotely doing pretty nothing much. These also brought in staffs from their previous job and haven't proven valuable work for the company. What is the role of the Agile Scrum Master if he is not running the daily stand up? Workforce efficiency needs a closer look at those who are lack of skill set, those scanning their badges then gone for the day instead of let go true working engineers.
Working at other places via Agile approach. JIRA at this place is a joke.
Hopefully they got rid of EOT staff who use JIRA to look busy and actually do very little. It can’t take 40 hours to groom a story which takes an hour to actually code.

@ax what does severance include ? Does it include prorated bonus ? And are people getting severance through these layoffs ?
Some people on my team got let go. A quick meeting was scheduled and they mentioned a director that was also let go. They told us that the cuts were done for now though. It didn't look like they let anyone go that actually did anything. I was actually hoping they would cut me and I would get my severance..
My role got impacted. It was a pretty quick meeting. I’m sure there will be more layoffs down the line…

I heard about layoffs today across all levels, including directors and associates, but not sure how many people were let go
