sand paper division? they had lots changes recently in the so-called leadership re-organizing
Sc--w them all. While all the lower job grades in the trenches working their a-s off and have been in “promotion freezes” for years even though we are doing jobs above our pay grade. I truly mean it when I say fu-k big corp 3M

Sorry, I don't trust any posting that doesn't provide verifiable details. This certainly might be true, but for credibility, identify the division in some meaningful way.
@c8 They usually hype before shutting. At the hype phase leadership gets promotions and at down phase the tech people are let go or any leadership who worked hard towards the goal. This 3M new product hype cycle
@OP Not shocking when you think about how hard it is to put together PowerPoint slides all day. Slides, backstabbing, and playing workplace politics, all in a solid days of work.
Not to mention they are all paid generously for those solid days of work.

Of course the managers all got promoted. They should be given full and sole credit for any successes coming from their team. The managers are the ones in the trenches, grinding every day doing all the hard work. Right? RIGHT?
JG14 and above requires SVP approval so it’s like the VP did it on their own.
But I have noticed some teams getting promotions galore. Look at the EBO team. Pound for pound more VPs and Directors than any other minor business unit, by far.
