Our paymasters in Houston are probably very happy that people are resigning. They will be until it impacts production and earnings. They talk a good job about safety but it doesn’t matter until it hurts the companies earnings
The good leaders retired, were 'retired' or were replaced by Exxon shills.
Unfortunately, when a company has poor leadership, it almost never gets better on its own.
They will hire and promote people like them, so the company becomes infested with brown nose types who only care about their own self interest and will throw you under the bus if it benefits them.
At this point, it will require a takeover by another company and a house cleaning, assuming the new company doesn't have the same issues.
Try for a new job that is hopefully "less worse", because there are places even if can Believe it.
All the good leaders left after layoff/relocations were announced, the rest are sticking around for layoff golden tickets or love the Exxon inside them.
Imperial used to have more good leaders. Now all the company has is puppets from ExxonMobil who are carrying out marching orders.
If you want better leadership, might I suggest trying another company like Suncor?
All you'll get are a-s kissers who care about no one else as long as their jobs are secured.
