State Street is requiring all employees be fully vaxxed by 12/22 or face voluntary resignation in January with no severance or unemployment. Problem is 50% are still not vaccinated. Bend on your personal beliefs and you get to stay and watch the selfdistruction first hand and meet the same fate when the firm go under. Let the game of Russian Roulette/ Chicken begin.

I got the jab to keep my job. Everyone unvaccinated is getting terminated. Writing is on the wall. I’ll probably die From something vaccine related, but the unvaccinated will lose everything, be unemployable and starve. So pick your poison, we’re all fooked.

The vaccinated seem to be a very righteous bunch. Vaccine or no vaccine, the issue here is that your civil liberties are being taken away. Look back at Europe in the 1930-1940's, it all started with targeting a group of people, think about where that ended up . For the Americans - think back to separate washrooms and drinking fountains. Human beings never learn from their mistakes. I pray for those in charge at State Street as they put individuals in a position of chosing to support their families or being true to beliefs. I pray for the vaccinated, that they may gain back their compassion

The OSHA mandate has been suspended by OSHA. The company is m0r0n1c for still pushing this. Also, the now-suspended mandate allowed for periodic testing in addition to "vaccination", why is everyone so hung up on getting the clotshot?

It’s going to the Supreme Court and it will pass. You will need to be vaccinated to participate in society (work, doctor’s office, dentist, school, grocery shop)….Everything going on right now is theater so you think you have a chance to beat this.

I agree, vax or get out, easy choice State Street is doing the right thing. I hope the insurance company makes it extremely expensive to be unvax and the life insurance company does not pay out to unvax folks if they die from covid. A bunch of selfish people that just want to make it difficult for people who want to get back to normal, btw I hate the mask!

You do realize that the polio vaccine prevents you from getting and spreading polio and doesn’t require a daily booster, right? Also, if the vaccine works, why are you wearing a mask? Why does natural immunity from having Covid already not factor in here? Do you not choose science? Did you have the same opinion of the vaccine in December 2020 when Trump was pushing it?

What's so hard to understand about adhering to a policy / rule? Please, exercise your right to not get vaxxed; there are a ton of competent people that we can hire to do your job. The fact that you are refusing a vax clearly demonstrates your inability to think critically. And for that alone, the bank will be better off without you in its employ.

Show us your critical thinking skills. What is the benefit of a vaccine that does not prevent you from getting Covid or passing Covid along? Why do you refuse to acknowledge natural immunity? Why get a vaccine that loses efficacy after 6 months (possibly 2-3 months now)? Did you support the vaccine rollout when Trump was President?

Please don't bring that mo--n, Trump into this. I hated him with ever fiber of my being but i am not blinded by that. The vaccine warp speed is the one thing he got right. I unlike many can see the vaccine benefit regardless if it came from someone with a D or R at the end of their name. As for the polio shot, if you visit certain countries in which it is not 100 eradicate you have to get a booster. I had to get a booster when i went to India. Wake the f up people look at the science and yes NOTHING is 100%. You can still get the virus but less likely to die. You don't want the vaccine fine you should be turned away if you go to the hospital to be treated for it. Your body your suffering. Goodbye to all the unvaccinated and goid riddance from SSB.

Should someone who got in a car accident without a seat belt on be turned away from the hospital? You logic makes no sense. Just my guess you fall into the morbidly obese, diabetic population who are most directly impacted by Covid. There was a time when Science and the Medical field was a highly trusted group.
But sadly big business money and big goverment money corrupted the field of
Science and Medical research.
The truth and facts are now being bought and used to suit the needs of Goverment control of the people.
When covid 1st started Trump decided to close the border to prevent the spread of covid.
The Democrats called him racist.
When people started wearing masks, Dr Fauci said their is no proof masks do any good.
When Trump started his Warp speed program with Medical companies to find a vaccine .
Many high level Democrats in Congress said they would not take the vaccine.
Now Biden is in power and the Democrats are telling the people get the vax
Dr Fauci is saying get the vax, wear a mask, social distance

Haha... morbidly obese. Far from it Einstein. I have a 18% BMI and run 4 miles 5 times a week. Project much mo--n. The probability of getting COVID is 1% and the probability of death after getting COVID is less than 0.00001% which means the total probability in die of COVID is 0.0000001%. The probability of die for being allergy to vaccine is 0.0000001%. But the probability of long term side effect for COVID vaccine is 1%.

Will SSB still uphold this policy since EO 14042 has been blocked? They made it clear the reason for implementing was because of this EO and their federal contracts. Seems they have backed themselves into a corner. What about workers who were already coerced into getting it?

No one finds it odd that State Street is always on the go when it comes to protecting the rights of individuals on race, gender, s-xuality and disability but were not willing to push back on this mandate that impacted an individual's rights to make a decision what medication he/she is prepared to take? Those that feel they were pushed into a corner to take the vaccine, should stand up and take action. Grateful that there are still employers in the US that are prepared to stand up for their employees, State Street management can learn alot from these employers , don't stand up for only what is popular, stand up for what is right

I’m anti experimental medicine that took 6 months to develop and go to market when the quickest approval for medicine like this is 10 years and numerous trials.
