We recently received the RTO email and there are various ways to track it by badging in (parking lot, building entry) etc. How will this be tracked and what are the repercusions of not adhering to this? My co-worker told me she is going to continue working only 3 days per week and said no one is tracking this. I told her they were.

They track the work phones just like they do the frontline teams. Geofence is the office. They know exactly where you are. Same situation with the laptops.

The field are losing their jobs. 105 employees let go in Columbia SC and more announcements to come the last week of September. You still have a job. We’ve been back to office for years. Just perspective for you.

@OP working only 3 days/week? That is the problem right there they are trying to solve. Everybody should be in the office 5 days/week so the work gets done properly.

Plenty of other companies are hiring and have remote positions available.
Just another reason to leave the sinking ship run by corporate pirates stealing from you just to fill their personal treasure chests.
@a5 agree, there is no vacation scheduler, sick day reporter tool.
Already we have been downsized to an non existent, let them fire few skeletons left behind.

@OP there are no tracking or repercussions at this time. Work travel, sick days, vacation, customer meetings…until they have a way to determine the difference then it’s just a scare tactic.
