Jerith Manufacturing LLC is closing its Philadelphia plant due to a significant lease cost increase. The company cited that rent is expected to triple, making operations at the current location economically impractical. This closure will result in the layoff of sixty-one employees. Some operations will transfer to a new East Coast Shared Service Center in New Jersey. A portion of the manufacturing work will also move to an existing facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
