CRM MV has a lot of really experienced people - including management- leaving by VERP. between that and RIF its' going to be hard to get a lot of stuff done in May when people realize how much those employees did.

I understand why a sales person would not understand what an engineering PM does, or an OPs PM for example so I'll grant you a bit of leeway but this OPs statement is completely ignorant.
Don't lump the real PMs or management in with the likes of Sally Saba or many other VPs and over inflated titles who literally do nothing but economically damage the company in virtually everything they do and say.
PS I'm an individual contributor and dislike excess middle management as anyone. Excess being the key word. I have also seen what an absence of competent PMs does to a project and you wouldn't have devices to sell if that were the case with every project.
Engineering/Ops PMs are very valuable if they are good.
I know some middle management is likely not worth much but don't lump everyone together. The few new products we are releasing this year wouldn't happen without the PMs that worked hard on these projects.
those powerpoints keep the place running lol. sales reps are a dime a dozen but ya'll can barely manage the 1 territory you have and the 8 customers you see repeatedly over dinner
those powerpoints are where the big boys make the big decisions so you sales kids can play and pretend to be something
The PMs do an excellent job of ensuring the new brand guidelines are followed. In addition they excel at collaborating across the different functions/ OUs to summarize how the individual contributors are driving value at an aggregate value for the VP level to take recognition and reward..............
Seriously, all these PMs who dont do nothing need to be kicked out. 17th is the target date I am hearing
They contribute exactly nothing to this place.
