New company purchased as I see more layoff posts on LinkedIn and numerous posts from India about just getting hired (as well as interns accepting roles).
New company is Ai related so at least they know stuff.

As a former CDW ISA, I saw firsthand how much feedback was provided regarding the integration of Sirius and other acquisitions. The ISA organization was involved in the pilot process, and numerous concerns and recommendations were raised before many of these changes were implemented. Unfortunately, much of that input did not appear to influence the eventual direction.
At one point, leadership went so far as to say that “the ISA is dead,” despite the team presenting alternative models that could have made the Sirius integration more efficient and preserved some of the advantages of the existing structure.
The impact is noticeable today. What was once a relatively simple process—sending an IM message or email to quickly engage the appropriate resource, sometimes same day—has become considerably more complicated. Many of the people and roles that were previously described as part of CDW’s ISA “secret sauce” are no longer there, be it them leaving like I did, or part of the RIF's that this board is all too familiar with.
Perhaps the biggest loss, that we warned about early on, has been the broad vendor-agnostic we used to be able to provide. Those individuals could understand a customer’s overall environment, evaluate multiple solutions across multiple vendors at a high level, and serve as a trusted technical resource. The current structure feels significantly more siloed, making it more difficult to provide that same holistic perspective, building that trust, and the effects of those changes appear to be reflected in the company’s overall results the past few years.
Best of luck to you all still there, reading this board is bittersweet.
@nj
That actually makes some sense.
They need to make submitting a services request ticket in SF quicker and easier.
Once you submit...you shouldn't have to wait a week or more for someone to get on the phone to scope and create a SOW.
It's like we the opportunities they want but then pi-s off customers with how long it takes just to get an initial call.
The process should be as easy and quick as getting an ISA call scheduled.
The fact that our highly compensated C level and VP's and Directors couldn't figure this out from all the feedback we tell managers....and it still takes too long....CRAZY in a business and industry where time matters.
@ks I suspect the new services leadership are the ones driving it and CL is just signing off. I won’t make any more comments about it other than to say when that new team was hired, I think most of who with lots of experience saw this coming.
Lovelytics will have their Salesforce instance integrated by 2034, reports will be available in 2036. In the meantime, a web portal template will be available, just submit your question and a response will be available within 4 - 6 weeks.
@k9
I don't know if the acquisition is based in India but I see a TON of new coworkers in India posting about just getting hired and thanking CDW.
Most of them seem on the technical/support/services side so I think they're replacing in house and former Sirius techs and our legacy CDW techs with cheaper labor.
Anything to pad their pockets while reducing commissions and pay and headcount on the US side.
CL is a terrible human for doing this to people who helped build the company.

I fixed it.
"New company is Ai related so at least MAYBE they know stuff."
Let me add this question: so you cull out workers who are experts in their work and have tenure with the company (no concern about destroying lives or families) and set them loose to fend for themselves in one of the worst job markets in 70 years, and then you purchase an [Indian?] company and brag about it.
Interesting that all the comments about “Strawberry Wokecake” disappeared. She must be watching. lol
@hj - unfortunately it will look good on paper but then CDW wouldn't know how to sell it.
Hey I'm trying to sell some Lovelytics --- anyone know the SKU?
So, um what does Lovelytics actually do? Like, do they make stuff we could actually sell?
Finally, CDW is an AI company!
At least they put their money where their mouth is and bought an AI company.
@an
Lovelytics
Literally wasted all that $ on Sirius and gutted them for specialists and engineers that made more than CDW wanted to pay so we replace them with equivalent Indian specialists. They could've just bought a India based firm back then.
Lovelytics is to give CDW some legitimacy with Ai data workloads it seems.
Artificial Indialligence. It answers your questions by wagging its head.
What’s the company called?
I'm sure it will go as well as.... all the other acquisitions
